"Antoine Dupuy (aka Ultrajove, aka Bitonio, aka Toinou, aka Jürgen) was born in Poitiers, town of art and history, on December 4, 1980.

After a complete school course (NES, Megadrive, Super NES, Playstation…) but somewhat stressing for his parents, the young person and “fringant” Antoine Dupuy takes down high-the-hand a " Master of Engineering of the Solutions Safety Network for the Companies Which can Treat to the Services of Consultant" faculty of Poitiers and returns in the working life.

But there is not essence.

It resides in the early discovery of the PC, offered like a protective talisman, guarantees success, by his parents relieved to see it spending hours so much to work on this new instrument (it will quickly become brilliant in matters like the doom-like unfortunately not very present in the school programs), instrument on which it will spend long hours to make its ranges.

Because little by little, using this instrument, quickly equipped with loudspeakers, then of an old amplifier with old baffles (“old" is used to make more authentic), he enters in music (and their parents in its room to say to him to agree to lower MUCH the sound please my darling). Without undoubtedly passing by the box musical theory (he remembered still painfully pathetic but, extremely fortunately, short musical attempts at his elder. Then it was the keyboard midday, table of mixing and innumerable and powerful software of sampling, etc…

All that for what? To create a nourished music of various influences: Big Beat with the house, techno with the dub, without forgetting the trip-core clash (which one often confuses with the analogical deep-tech, one dreams!) and other more or less alternating currents.

And then it was necessary to sort, gather, choose in all these projects to carry out a final album, the first, easiest, most difficult.

Then try to plunge you in this music as varied as personal, fruit of a long work of exploration, sometimes out of turbid water, which strikes by its freshness and its dense (dance) simplicity."

FluiD was formed in Chicago, Il. in 2007. It is the solo project of Christophe G. aka The Post-Human Cyborg: subduxtion. Equal parts myth, afrofuturist, anarchist, composer, cultural-activist, deviant, multi-instrumentalist, sound-scientist and vegan. He is originally from Los Angeles (Leimert Park), Ca., now living and working in Chicago, Illinois. Formerly the keyboardist/bassist for Impulse, D.O.D., Wardrobe Cathedral, Immaculate Corrosion and Drug Of Choice. He also contributed synths and programming to Los Angeles based industrial/goth rock group Die My Darling. Appearing on their debut CD 'Virulent' (Trisol 2002).. He first discovered music through the clarinet, playing the instrument from the age of six years old. He began studying the piano at age ten, studying both classical and jazz musics and later learned the tenor sax, flute and oboe. He also spent two years studying orchestration in college. He thinks of himself as an "abstract sound sculptor". Sound sculpting is more about creating a mood. It's about creating music that provokes the imagination. He released my first record with Impulse, a four-song EP of electro-funk. 2000 saw the release of the industrial/acid-house/rap collision titled 'Warhol Machine'12" followed that same year by 'The Dream Is the Drug' 12" featuring Tequila Mockingbird. Since that time he has continued to release a large amount of music both as a solo artist (Re: dux tion, subduxtion and FluiD) and collaborator (with Black Saturn, Selbst-Morder, Finger Painted Death and John 3:16) on various independent labels around the world. Encompassing a multitude of styles and influences - techno, jazz, noise, classical avant-garde, hip-hop, psychedelia, metal, dub, early industrial and ambient. As a remixer he has manipulated and re-constructed songs for Ganymede, Fr/action, Heat From A Deadstar, Blood Into Water, One Dead Fuck, Worms of the Earth and DisinVectant.
